Ingredients
8 ounce block of feta cheese
-
1 tablespoon Domaine Lachaal extra virgin olive oil
1.5 tablespoons local honey
Fresh thyme leaves
Sprinkling of za’atar
Directions
Place an oven rack shelf near the top third of the oven, then preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Brush a thin layer of olive oil inside an oven-safe container. Place the feta on the dish and drizzle with remaining olive oil, making sure the entire top is covered. Bake until cheese is warm and soft (not melted), around 10 minutes
Warm the honey in the microwave to thin it out.
Remove the feta from the oven and preheat the broiler. Brush the honey evenly all over the feta. Broil until the top of the cheese browns, anywhere from 3-7 minutes.
Remove from the oven and drizzle with additional honey, and sprinkle with thyme and za’atar.
Serve immediately with warmed pita triangles.
