Tunisia is the leading olive oil producing country in the southern Mediterranean region. On its eastern shore, the Lachaal family tends their groves with the same methods they have for centuries. 

Each tree is treated with the utmost care and attention. When harvest season arrives, our growers climb handmade olive wood ladders and pick the olives by hand using hollowed-out horns placed on the fingertips to delicately comb the fruits from their branches. Our chemlali olives are picked at peak ripeness, lending their rich flavors to the distinct taste of our “Mature Harvest” offering.  

Once our olives are inspected for quality they are cold-pressed within 24 hours to keep their complex flavor intact.

Our time-honored production methods reflect an appreciation for the land we rely on to bear the fruits of our labor. Much of the byproduct of our olive oil making process is reintroduced to the fields to support future growth. Our packaging, inspired by the patterns of Tunisian art, is entirely recyclable.
